Directing

Shows I’ve worked on

It brings me great joy to support and guide actors of all ages to their best performances. Directing feels like the culmination of my varied training and work experience. I was trained as an actor at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and as an operatic tenor at Manhattan School of Music. After early success in animation, I became fascinated by voice-over, left my budding opera career and decided to open a studio that would train the next generation of voice-over artists, Shut-Up & Talk. I directed hundreds of actors, training them in the art of voice-over and producing their demos. I later co-founded Hyperbolic Audio, which specializes in audio post-production, and Hyperbolic Creative, which creates and produces content for radio and podcasts as well as serving as a SAG/AFTRA signatory. Through Hyperbolic Audio, I’ve served as an in-house voice director and writer for hundreds of sessions in both English and Spanish.

I’m currently the lead voice director on the second season of “Santiago of the Seas” on Nickelodeon. I was also a voice director on the entire second season of Nickelodeon’s “Dora and Friends”. I’ve directed numerous Nick Jr. projects for Fisher-Price, Nickelodeon Kids and Family Games Group as well as audio description directing for Peg+Cat, iCarly, Sea Rescue, Tree Fu Tom, Game Changers and Lucky Dog.

It is uniquely gratifying to use all my talents in service of the story. I am truly grateful to bring my full self to each session and be valued by everyone I work with from the cast to the creative team to the engineers.
